Rock Star Wheels Chevy

En route to Lima - Lima weekend on the coast

The next day I return to the scene of the storm yesterday. At one village the road runs along three beautiful lakes, Chuchon lagoon, lagoon and Azul Leon colcha Colcha for a total of 19.3 m3 of water. The surroundings are all white. It snowed much of the night. I go back to the village around 10:00 am and depart towards Canta, which is ultimately a good time there, far from what I had originally planned the eve leaving Huallay. The road is impressive but dangerous. The void is there. The road is not wide. Be careful. 7 km before reaching Canta I climb a good hour up to 4800 meters above sea level to visit the ruins of Cantamarca, ancient Inca city. Came up with the motorcycle, a true sea of clouds waiting for me. The show is magnificent. I asked a few moments on one of the buildings to look around. Mountain side, I also dominates the clouds. Cordillera is beautiful and powerful. We can better understand the beliefs of the Incas on the natural elements and how their whole system and their customs was based on that.
back down and I'll stop for lunch at Canta. I'm now only 125 km from Lima. The road becomes paved. Within three hours the altitude rises from 3,800 meters at level 0 of the ocean. The change is radical. Past Santa Quiver, landscapes are not the same. and found the coastal desert. The mountains are just pebbles and sand. The Rio Chillon Valley and fertilize the fields. Arrived in Lima traffic is dense. I found the Panamericana and walked in the district of La Molina. Meanwhile Anita, a Peruvian Lima, responded to my request for CouchSurfing. CouchSurfing is a hosting service people online without advertising, open since January 2004. Participation in the project CouchSurfing is free and free. Each member can interact and ask for hospitality to other members, and everyone is free to its commitments vis-à-vis other participants. Under the terms of the site, CouchSurfing seeks to "bring people and places in the world, creating knowledge exchanges, raise collective consciousness, spread tolerance and facilitate cultural understanding." Her "mission , "is to" Participate in creating a better world, couch after couch. "
arrived in the district of La Molina, call Anita gives me an appointment to the Metro supermarket. I expect a good time. What can sympathize with Sara a policewoman who works in the neighborhood and Lucy the babysitter's supermarket parking lot. After an hour with Anita arrives and Federico, an Argentine who lives in Berlin and is also visiting the capital. We're off to the house of Anita. The neighborhood is residential and quiet. The apartment is on the first floor of a house with a large common room and a beautiful kitchen. I even found a garage where I could leave the bike at night.
I spend four days in Lima and in the home of Anita. That happiness. My English is not good enough to follow all the conversations but I am part of the new family. Anita introduced us to all friends who regularly spend time in his house. All university. On Thursday evening I go out in the district of Miraflores with Anita and Federico. The evening was good and I will accompany even as late morning Fédérico to get his 22 year old cousin who just arrived in the capital after 62 hours by bus from Argentina. The same evening, I will find a Peruvian Heidi met the previous day.
way home the next day what Anita was surprised to learn that we all start at 40 minutes from Lima on the coast in the house of a friend of Daniela Anita. His family will be there. What luck!
I prepared the bike and go with Anita who accompanied me on the back. There are people on the road. All Lima goes ashore on the weekends. After one hour we arrive very quickly joined by the rest of the group. Federico, her cousin, Daniela and friends, all younger than us, mostly twenties. Which group. The house is amazing. The view from Upstairs on the ocean is a breath away. The weather is perfect. Upon his arrival we leave for the Playa del Silencio. Houses overlooking the beach are incredible. The beach is great. The current is strong and the waves are awesome. It just fun on the side and back along the beach. The water is cold enough but we made it fast. How lucky to be here. What joy.
On returning we meet with parents of Daniela and their friend. The atmosphere is really warm. And I do not speak of hospitality. A barbequeue is getting ready. After a game of football with young the corner, the meat is ready and we eat with gusto. Federico, passionate about his country and history, flew to a monologue and explain the political problems in Argentina. I hear of Peronist, Menem, Kirchner. We eat in the kitchen with the rest of the men's team. All listen and share with him. It's a real character. Meanwhile the girls are preparing. We all go out this evening at a nightclub called the Pasha on which we were placed on list. Arrived on the scene, what beautiful girls away from what I saw in the Sierra and Selva Peruvian ago. The best course come from Lima and are generally better off.
The next day passes quickly. The clock is late. The time to go to the beach, lunch, greet and thank everyone and I hit the road to 4:00 p.m. with a lot of nostalgia and melancholy after all the good times between Lima and the coast. It is always difficult to go his way when memories are behind you. It hurts. But it lasts a while and then life on the road resumed. I roll up in Pisco along the ocean. The landscape is lunar. Basically I see Cordillera Central. I spend many seaside village. Then after a long desert crossing, I arrived in Chincha and Pisco, where I ask myself permanently in a comfortable hotel.
